Core goes to NASA!

Image
By Pati Anderson We travel a lot here at Core, and one of our recent trips took a couple of our researchers to Houston, TX. Naturally, they went to visit the Johnson Space Center at NASA! In addition to exploring the inside of a spaceship and learning about lunar rocks, we learned a little bit about human factors at NASA. For example, researchers at NASA had to create "simulated moon soil" to test the Rovers and train astronauts for driving on the moon. Even the smallest details, such as the dirt you are walking or driving on, can make a huge difference in simulations meant to test equipment designed for use in space.
